His reverence for creatures of the forests marked the beginning of young Harsha Narasimhamurthy’s journeys to National Parks in South India, followed by his devotion to document his experiences as photographs. Gifted with keen attention and impressive presence of mind, Harsha is quick to make informed decisions on field. He considers photography ‘the digital form of painting’, and his work remains true to his learned truth.
Did the basic photography and digital post processing workshops with Toehold, also attended the Ranganathittu master class. Jayanth, Phillip, Santosh and everyone else are just amazing mentors. During the workshop and years after that, Jayanth continues to guide and give wonderful tips when required. The basics I learnt have helped me a long way, now I run an interior design business and our main marketing material is the photos that I take and which help us get new customers regularly. ps: I get good feedback on my interior photography too.
It was a great learning at Toehold. I have learnt basic and also digital processing at Toehold.
First of all thanks a million pixles for conducting one more amazing workshop. It is a wonderful experience which i enjoyed a lot, interacting with so many photographer and a master like you. Any way i wish all the successes to Toehold and you. Thanks for being so concerned and helpful. Keep in touch.
I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone who has started photography. It sets the expectation right about why PP is required and why it is quite ethical. We also learn what we cannot do when we talk about Post processing.
After having attended your Basics course, all I needed was a course like this to render my pictures for print and the web. The PP workshop has helped me a lot to bring out the beauty in my pictures which I hadnt realized till now. I had always thought post processing was not a nice thing to do. But now I understand it is not just an ethical thing, but also mandatory for images shot in RAW.

I am a complete beginner in photography. Is this Workshop recommended for me?
Absolutely! This Workshop does not assume any pre-existing knowledge of photography and is suitable for learners of all skill levels. If you are a complete beginner, you should sign up for the Workshop right away, as we’re sure you’ll find it really helpful!
I'm not conversant with the basics of photography. Will this Workshop still be useful for me?
We believe processing is best done on images whose basics are sound. Therefore, if you’re not conversant with the basics of photography yet, we recommend you consider joining our Art and Science of Photography Workshop first.
How do I register for the Workshop?
How do I pay the Workshop fee?
We have multiple payment options including online transfer, from which you may choose one as per your convenience. Details will be shared when we receive your enquiry.
Why don't you instruct using other image-processing applications?
To keep the Workshop content simple, our instruction will be restricted to Adobe products because they are the most advanced and capable tools for digital image processing. Having been trained on these, you should be able to use any equivalent application since the concepts are general.
What version of Lightroom should I have?
In order to be able to relate to all the features discussed during the Workshop, you must have Lightroom 5 or later, preferably the latest version. Please visit the Adobe website if you are not sure whether it’s up to date.
What if I do not have Adobe Lightroom?
If you do not have licensed versions of Adobe Lightroom installed on your machine, you may download trial versions from the Adobe site. If you’ve already tried them before and your trial has expired, we encourage you to consider purchasing or subscribing at least for a temporary period. Please visit the Adobe website for purchase and subscription options.
