A filmmaker specializing in infomercials and documentary films, Prakash Matada has worked with many international networks like Radical Media, BBC, Discovery, Nat Geo, Emic Films, and Animal Planet on many of their landmark series.
His recent documentary Wild Seve has been selected and honored at seven International Film Festivals, including the oldest film festival in the world – the International Wildlife Film Festival (Montana, USA).
Prakash Matada’s wide range of accomplishments and accolades include Best Resort video and Top Ten Startup videos in India. The body of his work comprises more than 200 videos, including commercials, animation, documentaries, and social media content. He was recently invited by LinkedIn to talk about his unconventional career, to inspire aspiring wildlife filmmakers.
Prakash also specializes in Drone Filming and has given several talks and trained the staff of Forest Departments in Karnataka and Maharashtra.
Having started his career in photography and filming while volunteering for non-governmental organizations, Prakash is now a well-known name in the filmmaking fraternity as his work reaches out to multidisciplinary projects and he continues to collaborate with dedicated filmmakers, artists, and organizations from across India and abroad.
