Kabini forests are magical in the monsoons. And if you are fortunate enough to see a majestic tiger when you are there, you will have your own Kabini Chronicle to cherish.
Toehold Skipper Harsha Narasimhamurthy photographed this beautiful female on our recent Kabini Photo Tour.
When the group was exploring Zone B in Kabini National Park on a rainy morning, they were stopped by a huge herd of elephants on Balle road. After sometime, the elephants made way for the group and as they reached the main road, they sensed movement in the bushes by the road.
The Skipper realised that it was the backwater subadult female, and he advised the driver to position the safari vehicle carefully to get such stunning images of the majestic tigress emerging from the beautiful verdant bushes as anticipated.
She came as scent-marked one of the trees and disappeared into the bushes, and this is how Kabini can offer beautiful moments, and monsoons make it only better with the lush green background.
